1) Q. My laminate is always wrinkling on one side, or my boards always drift to one side.

A. This is the most common fault/question for laminators, and 90% of the time indicates that the rolls may require re-levelling. The squareness of the laminator frame may also need to be checked.

2) Q. There is a 1-2 inch wide stripe that runs down the length of my mounted image when I laminated it. looks like it has not been pressed down properly.

A. This is a common problem when using plastic type boards, and is due to the boards not being perfectly flat, using a two pass (topping and tailing) technique is the best way to overcome this problem. On rare occasions it can be due to a damaged/worn roller.

3) Q. I'm getting random bubbles in my encapsulation and there is no pattern to it.

A. This problem usually is more prevalent when there is high humidity, I.e. during the autumn/winter season. Most of the time it can be prevented just by making sure that when the rollers are heated up to encapsulation temperatures that they are closed and rolling which ensures that the rolls are evenly heated.
